Fox River Cleanup for World Cleanup Day 2025

In honor of Amma's birthday, we warmly invite you to join us for a Green Friends World Clean Up Day effort to clean up the Fox River and Island Park from 9am to noon with Swamini this Saturday, Sept. 20th.
Event Details
Paurnami is the on-site location coordinator. We'll be working along the riverbank (not in the water). Volunteers are asked to wear old clothes, gloves, and boots to help remove debris from the park and river. Garbage bags, water, snacks, washing stations, canoes will be provided. For on-site questions, contact Paurnami via WhatsApp or text at (262) 353-8978.
Transportation & Schedule
Carpools depart from South Lodge parking lot at 8:30 AM, 9:30 AM, and 10:30 AM. Please arrive on time for your chosen departure. Lalitha will coordinate departures and provide directions - contact her with event questions at (240) 753-4056.
About This Event
MACC Greenfriends is participating in this worldwide environmental initiative. This is our chance to serve our local community while demonstrating our commitment to protecting Mother Nature.
Any amount of time you can volunteer will be greatly appreciated!
