Swamini Amrita Jyoti Prana, French, made her first trip to India in 1971. She is 21 years old and has just completed her master's degree in physical sciences. She is deeply touched by the spiritual wealth of the country. She therefore stayed there for several months each year, and devoted herself to deepening her spiritual research, notably with Ma Anandamayi, Arnaud Desjardins and many Tibetan lamas in exile.

She performs a work of purification of the heart and clarification of thoughts (citta shuddhi) by the lyings and the teaching of Arnaud Desjardins for 15 years, trained as a yoga teacher, mainly with Sri Desikachar in Madras, and she began to teaching yoga in Paris from 1978. At the same time, she obtained the diploma of 'Tibetan language and civilization' at the 'O' languages ​​in 1981, and was passionate about the study of Sanskrit, the scriptures of India, psychology , and beyond !

Swamini Amrita Jyoti Prana met Amma in Madras, India, in 1988. It was such a strong experience that she then put an end to her teaching of physics, chemistry and yoga to intensify and deepen her spiritual process. with Amma. She received the initiation from Brahmacharya, the traditional initiation of renouncing students in India, in 1997. Amma then sends her to teach in Europe several months a year and then, in 2002, asked her to take responsibility for the Amma Center which comes to be bought near Paris. Now Swamini participates, with a whole team of volunteers, in the influence of this great Center "Sacred Eco-site" and is dedicated to the development of the work and the message of Amma and Sanatana Dharma in France and beyond.
