MA Center PNW, Seattle
MA Center PNW, Seattle is situated in the Greenwood neighborhood of Seattle, Washington. Inaugurated in 2024, this property features a Temple and a functioning home. The center is a base for Satsang members of the greater Seattle area, who are inspired by Amma (Mata Amritanandamayi) and her spiritual teachings, environmental initiatives, and humanitarian efforts. Throughout the year, a variety of programs and events are hosted, fostering an active and diverse community.
ABOUT OUR COMMUNITY
MA Center PNW, Seattle is the spiritual home for members of the greater Seattle area. The community gathers Sunday afternoons for Satsang, which includes chanting, meditation, readings from Amma's teachings, Bhajans (devotional singing), and the offering of the Arati flame. After Satsang members share prayer requests, announcements of group activities and conversation.
The Pacific Northwest has many surrounding Satsang communities, which often use this Center as a hub for connection. Those surrounding Satsang communities regularly travel to the MA Center PNW, Seattle to participate in special events and programs, fostering a sense of unity within the larger community.

Weekly Satsang is a great way to connect with local community members and learn about upcoming events.
Our Satsang is committed to serving the community, with members participating in activities like Mother's Kitchen, GreenFriends, and the Pacific Northwest Litter Project. Meditation is integral to our spiritual practices, featuring regular Integrated Amrita Meditation (IAM) courses and group sessions throughout the year. We celebrate cultural holidays with special Satsangs for festivals such as Shivaratri, Amma's birthday, Navratri, Christmas, and New Year's Eve.
Senior disciples of Amma are frequently invited to the Center to lead special Satsang programs.
