A Day of Selfless Service
"In this age of selfishness, selfless service is the only soap that truly purifies." ~ Amma
Lend a hand for an hour or two or for the whole day, spring cleaning the ashram and grounds! All are welcome! Indoors or out, there will be a suitable task for everyone, as well as a delicious potluck lunch.
Indoor seva tasks include:
- Cleaning and organizing Veggie Sales Table area
- Washing windows in Satsang Hall
- Organizing altar supplies and sarees at the back of the Satsang Hall
- Cleaning and organizing area around big freezer
- Cleaning upstairs and downstairs bathrooms in Satsang Hall
There will also be plenty of activities at the farm for those who enjoy working outdoors! Outdoor seva tasks include:
- Weeding in veggie garden and flower gardens
- Planting in the flower garden
- Cutting the grass in the orchard
- Mulching & pruning in the orchard
- Cleaning and organizing beekeeping equipment
And much more!
