The section we will be discussing is Chapter 2 -The Mind is Mad

This chapter begins with:

Mother was chatting with the brahmacharins and a few householder devotees. A question was asked by one of the brahmacharins.

"Amma, if we truly are the Atman, why is it so difficult to experience the truth?"

Mother replied, "Truth is always the most difficult thing and at the same time, the easiest. For ignorant and egoistic people, it is the most difficult thing to know, and for those who are inquisitive and have a burning desire to know, it is the easiest."
