Virtual Saraswati Puja for Navaratri

Navaratri - 'nine nights' in Sanskrit, will be celebrated virtually by MA Center from Friday, October 16 through Sunday, October 25. During these nine nights and ten days, three days each are devoted to honoring the divine qualities of Durga, Lakshmi and Saraswati. On Saturday, October 24th, the ninth and final night of Navaratri, Pujarini Meera will perform a Vedic Puja dedicated to Saraswati, the Goddess of Knowledge.

This program will be live streamed on the MA Center, San Ramon YouTube channel: https://youtube.com/c/macentersanramon. Subscribing to the channel is recommended.

The puja is open to all, no registration is required to attend. In addition, registration is available for a sankalpa (special intention) to be made during the puja on your behalf, or for a loved one - $65 per individual. You do not need to attend the puja to register for a sankalpa.

All are welcome to join the ashram residents for daily spiritual practices in the Main House puja room:

Morning Archana

Monday-Saturday: 5 AM
Sunday: 6 AM

Evening Bhajans

Sunday - Friday: 7 PM
If there is no Saturday program in the temple hall, bhajans are in the Main House at 7 PM.

  • Guru Stotram Chanting
  • Bhajans (Devotional singing)
  • Closing prayers and Arati

Directions

The Main House is on the hill above the temple hall. When you arrive at MA Center,  turn right and cross over the small bridge. Use the call box on your left just before the outer gate to communicate that you need the gate opened to drive through. Then follow the road past the temple. The road continues on the right next to the temple gate, then curves left up the hill to the Main House. The puja room is just inside the front door to the house.
