SCHEDULE FOR THE DAY:

10:00 am - 4:30 pm: Seva (Service projects)
3:00 pm - 4:00 pm: *Guided IAM-35 Meditation (Main House Puja Room)
3:00 pm - 4:00 pm: *Group Vedic Chanting (Amrita Hall)
4:30 pm - 5:30 pm: Group chanting 1000 Names of the Divine Mother
5:30 pm - 6:00 pm: Break for chai & snack (Bake sale, proceeds benefit Amma’s charities)    
6:00 pm - 8:00pm:  Satsang, Ram Navami Puja and Bhajans by Swamiji followed by Arati and Closing Prayers
8:00 pm: Vegetarian dinner (benefits Amma's charitable projects)

Amma's Pantry Bag Exchange:

4:30pm – 8:00pm at the back of the hall.  Read more about the project here. Bring your filled bag to exchange for a new one.

Craft Guild Workshop:

Time: 2:00pm - 4:00pm
Location: Creekside
The Craft guild offers workshops for knitting, sewing, crocheting and upcycling.

SPECIAL ONGOING FUNDRAISING PROGRAMS BENEFITTING MA CENTER

Bharatanatyam Dance class:

Time: 2:00pm - 3:00pm
Location: Creekside
The dance class is one of the ongoing fundraiser programs for MA Center. The students will learn hand gestures and basic steps of the ancient South Indian classical dance form, Bharatanatyam. Learn more and register at https://www.amrita-hall.org/bharatanatyam/.

Artificial Intelligence in Action

Time: 2:00pm - 3:00pm
Location: Creekside
A new course, focusing on Artificial Intelligence (AI) for social good, will be hosted at MA Center. Course participants will develop an application for social good. This application is targeted to intelligently detect and advise proper realtime waste management for recyclables and will be deployed at MA Center. - *Guided IAM-35 Meditation: Only for those who have already taken the complete 8-hour IAM-35 course.
- *Vedic Chanting: Chanting the Pancha Suktams, Mantra Pushpam and Sri Rudram in unison to recordings as a way to practice and learn. Please bring your own books.
- Bake Sale benefitting Amma’s charities opens at 5:30 pm.

All are welcome to join the ashram residents for daily spiritual practices in the Main House puja room:

Morning Archana

Monday-Saturday: 5 AM
Sunday: 6 AM

  • 1000 Names of the Divine Mother, Sri Lalitha Sahasranam

 

Evening Bhajans

Sunday - Friday: 7 PM
If there is no Saturday program in the temple hall, bhajans are in the Main House at 7 PM.

  • Guru Stotram Chanting

  • Closing prayers and Arati

Directions

The Main House is on the hill above the temple hall. When you arrive at MA Center,  turn right and cross over the small bridge. Use the call box on your left just before the outer gate to communicate that you need the gate opened to drive through. Then follow the road past the temple. The road continues on the right next to the temple gate, then curves left up the hill to the Main House. The puja room is just inside the front door to the house.
