Additional Date for Amma’s Pantry Bag Exchange

Dec 20, 2014 4:00pm-9:00pm (ended)

Another Bag Exchange added for Amma’s Pantry Donations for the Holidays: Amma’s Pantry table at the back of Amrita Hall from 4-9pm

Participants can exchange their green bags containing food donations for a new, empty bag.

Amma's Pantry was launched on December 31, 2012. The project collected 4,299 tons of food in 2013, the equivalent of 3,439 meals, and has already collected over 2,000 (a ton) of food during 2014.

Many thanks to the over 100 individuals and families participating.  The regional Food Bank is grateful to have regular supplies of food, especially in these months when their supplies dwindle. We're making a big difference in our local community!

The Main House is on the hill above the temple hall. When you arrive at MA Center,  turn right and cross over the small bridge. Use the call box on your left just before the outer gate to communicate that you need the gate opened to drive through. Then follow the road past the temple. The road continues on the right next to the temple gate, then curves left up the hill to the Main House. The puja room is just inside the front door to the house.
