Beach Clean-Up @Mother's Beach in Marina del Rey 9am to 12pm

Please join GreenFriends in responding to Swami Amritaswarupananda Puri's suggestion that Amma's children participate in local clean-up drives, in honor of Amma's birthday and "World Clean-up Day".
We see Big Swamiji's suggestion as an unexpected opportunity to receive Amma's grace in our efforts to love and serve Nature.

Therefore, we invite all devotees to join us this Saturday September 20th, from 9am - 12pm at Marina del Rey's Mother's Beach Pledge Wall. We will perform seva in support of Heal The Bay.
Heal the Bay has been the Los Angeles County Coordinator of Coastal Clean-up Day for the past 36 years, and is hosting activities at over 70 sites throughout the county.

Things to bring: Gloves, buckets for trash, a hat and a refillable water bottle to hydrate.

Parking: Heal the bay will send registered participants a Parking pass for Mothers Beach YOU CAN PRINT THIS PASS
free parking is only guaranteed from 8 AM - 2 PM

IF YOU PARK IN A LOT THAT IS NOT LISTED YOU WILL HAVE TO PAY FOR PARKING
There is free 30 minute parking along the boardwalk.
If you park in lot 9 across from Mothers beach please PRINT and use this Parking pass for Mothers Beach and follow the instructions on the pass!
The rate is a flat rate of $10 if an attendant is present otherwise its appros $2.00 an hour so Carpooling is recommended
