Amriteshwari Puja, on Saturday, August 16, 6-8PM

Aug 16, 2025 6:00pm-8:00pm

Pujarini Vaju will perform Amriteswari Puja in MA Center of Iowa on Saturday August 16th,2025. All are welcome to attend.

Amriteshwari, meaning "Goddess of Immortality," combines "Amrita" (nectar of immortality) and "Ishwari" (goddess). This name symbolizes the Divine Mother as the source of eternal bliss, and spiritual liberation. In the context of Amma, Mata Amritanandamayi Devi, Amriteshwari reflects her divine love and compassion, guiding devotees toward enlightenment.

Ceremonies like the Amriteshwari Puja honor Amma by invoking her on a 'Vilakku Deepam' (flame of a lamp), symbolizing her presence and praying for her blessings to bestow prosperity, harmony, and spiritual upliftment. In essence, Amriteshwari represents eternal life, divine grace, and spiritual transcendence.

To register for a sankalpa (spiritual resolve) to be made on your behalf, or for a loved one, during the puja, please sign up using the link. $50 per individual.

Please note that those who register for sankalpa do not need to be present to receive the benefits of the puja.
