In the current economic and ecological context, it is vital that we Canadians invest in Canadian farms, to promote Canadian food security. Investing in organic and regenerative farming is particularly crucial, as these modes of agriculture consider the long term health of the land and the ecosystem that feeds us, as opposed to prioritizing short-term profits over long-term ecological sustainability.  Amma says: "Nature is our first mother. She nurtures us throughout our lives. [...] Just as a child is obligated to his birth mother, we should all feel an obligation and responsibility towards Mother Nature. If we forget this responsibility, it is equal to forgetting our own self. If we forget Nature, we will cease to exist, for to do so is to walk towards death.”

At Amma Canada Farms, volunteers strive to put Amma's teachings into practice by growing fruits, vegetables, and beekeeping using organic methods. A significant portion of our produce is donated to food banks, directly benefiting those in need in the community. In 2025, we aim to expand our impact by investing in critical equipment that will greatly enhance our ability to manage orchard and vegetable production, improving the quality and quantity of our crop. We also aim to partner with other non-profits like Sundance Commons who are involved in organic farming education, to ensure that these skills and practices are passed on to the next generation of farmers, particularly those who are currently underrepresented.
