New Year’s Day Retreat: A New Beginning

Led by Amma’s Disciples

Friday, January 1, 2021
9:30 am - 7:00 pm MST

“Without succumbing to despair, we should light up our hearts with the lamp of hope.” - Amma

Amma says that to begin the New Year "we should take stock of ourselves, and, with an eye to the future, engage in positive actions. This is the time to make such determined resolutions.” This online spiritual retreat provides time to reflect on the new year and the hope it brings, as we continue to deepen our inner connection with Amma through spiritual practice.

Following morning archana and yoga, Swami Amritaswarupananda Puri, Amma’s senior-most" disciple, will inaugurate the retreat at 9:30 am MST. The rest of the day will be an inspiring program led by Amma’s North American disciples: Swami Dayamritananda Puri, Swami Shantamritananda Puri, and Br. Ramanandamrita Chaitanya, which will include reflection, meditation, devotional singing, and more.

The day will culminate with an auspicious Sarvaishwarya Homa, sacred fire ceremony,  performed by Br. Ramanandamrita Chaitanya that will be open to all -  broadcast via YouTube. See below for details and how to register for a spiritual resolve.
