"Amma's Way" North American Premiere

"Amma's Way: A Journey to Embrace the World Again", will make its debut in North America at the Illuminate Film Festival, as the opening night film, on November 5, at the Sedona Performing Arts Center at 6:30 PM MST.
"Amma's Way" is a 90-minute English documentary film that portrays Amma (Mata Amritanandamayi) and her humanitarian, societal, spiritual and educational work through the words of her disciples and devotees. From the life in her ashram in Kerala to a series of interviews, Amma's greatness is revealed in a new light. Known globally for her famous darshan or blessing embrace, Amma has tirelessly traveled the whole world for the past 35 years to reach out to people.
The film aims to present the astonishing humanitarian enterprises that Amma has created in parallel to her hugging/blessing activity. Enterprises through which she has served and continues to serve millions of people in a multitude of needed ways, such as providing free quality healthcare, quality education, sheltering and relief support after natural disasters.
This in-person screening will be followed by a Q&A with Swami Dayamritananda Puri, Executive Director MA Centers, North America.

The daily ashram routine includes archana (chanting of the 108 Names of Amma and the 1000 Names of the Divine Mother), meditation, seva (volunteering or service) and bhajans (devotional singing).
The Santa Fe Satsang meets on Saturday nights, from at 5:00pm-7:30pm in the temple. Arrive by 4:15pm if you would like to chant the 1000 names of Sri Lalita before Satsang begins.
