What began as a goal to fund 27 Blessing Bags grew into 72 — a beautiful way to honor Amma's 72nd birthday. Thanks to the generosity of our satsang community, AYUDH New England collected, assembled and delivered these bags, each filled with essential full-size items for women in need at Rosie's Place.
The packing day was a joyful community effort — volunteers gathered to listen to bhajans, pack the bags, share homemade food and mango lassi, and end the afternoon with a peaceful nature walk. This past week, all 72 bags were delivered to Rosie's Place as part of AYUDH New England's "National Give Something Away Day" seva. Each bag, assembled with care and compassion, has now reached a woman in need, carrying Amma's message of love and the dignity of thoughtful giving.
The staff at Rosie's Place expressed deep gratitude for the effort and attention put into each bag, and were moved by the sincerity of the seva. During the visit, the AYUDH team also explored future volunteer opportunities, hoping to deepen this connection. Heartfelt thanks to everyone who donated, prepared food, helped pack and supported this project — a reflection of the impact we can create when we come together in service.
