Amma's Youth Movement
AYUDH — Amma's Youth for Unity, Diversity and Humanity — is the youth division of Embracing the World, active in more than 40 countries and dedicated to empowering young people to contribute to a peaceful and sustainable world. In New England, AYUDH channels that spirit into hands-on service across Greater Boston.
Serving Our Neighbours
- Blessing Bags & Winter Coats for Rosie's Place: honoring Amma's 72nd birthday, AYUDH assembled and delivered 72 blessing bags of full-size essentials, and donated 72 new winter jackets, to the women and children of Rosie's Place in Boston.
- Meal Packing: partnering with Feed My Starving Children, AYUDH volunteers packed 22,248 meals in 103 boxes — enough to feed 61 children a daily meal for an entire year.
- Food Drives: for Amma's 72nd birthday, the group collected over 190 food items for the Margaret Fuller Neighborhood House in Boston, and runs regular food and essentials drives.
