Swami Amritaswarupananda Puri's call for a World Cleanup Day gave MA Center LA's GreenFriends an opportunity to lend their efforts alongside other communities inspired to serve nature. Four devotees from the Los Angeles area gathered at Mother's Beach in Marina del Rey on Global Cleanup Day, in support of Heal the Bay's efforts across Los Angeles County — work Heal the Bay has coordinated for the past 35 years.
