On Saturday, September 28th, 2019, more than 25 ABK and AYUDH children partnered with Alpharetta's Rivers Alive organization for another year of their annual clean-up of Rock Mill Park, in honor of Amma's 66th birthday. Children and parents assembled at 8:30 a.m. and formed groups to help.
One group worked on three raised beds — taking soil from the old planters, amending it, and moving it into the new ones. Another group worked for hours on the bioretention area, clearing tall invasive weeds. The two groups worked selflessly for more than three hours, transforming the park and giving it new life.
