Ramadevi will be performing a Bhagavati Puja at the home of Aparna (Linda) and James Aday in Pleasant Hill (just outside Eugene), beginning just after sunset on Wednesday, January 17. The puja will last approximately 2 hours.
The benefit from the Bhagavati Seva puja is for the blessings of the Divine Mother for protection, prosperity and knowledge, all in the material and spiritual realms of life. It is an elaborate, ancient worship involving many lamps. These pujas have been blessed by Amma.
The pujari makes a special sankalpa at the beginning of the puja for those who sign up.
