Bhagavati Seva / Karthika Puja by Swamini Ambikamrita Prana

Swamini Ambikamrita Prana will perform a Bhagavati Seva Puja for Karthika at MA Center Dallas on Saturday, May 16th at 5:00 PM.

A monthly birthday is traditionally observed in India based on the moon’s position at the time of birth. Karthika is the Nakshatra (star constellation) in which the moon was transiting at the time of Amma’s birth. Each time the moon returns to this same position in the heavens, approximately every 28 days, it is considered a day of dedication to Amma and is celebrated by her children around the world.

The Bhagavati Seva Puja is an ancient ceremony performed to restore balance in the environment and bring peace within ourselves and in the world. It is conducted to receive the blessings of the Divine Mother for protection from miseries, fulfillment of wishes, and spiritual benefit.
