Swami Amritaswarupananda Puri has spent his life in the service of Sri Mata Amritanandamayi Devi, known affectionately as Amma, one of the world's foremost humanitarian and spiritual leaders. Traveling the world to share her teachings with thousands, Swamiji's satsang (spiritual discourse) and bhajans (devotional singing) offer an invitation to go deeper within, and to reconnect with what matters most.

Doors open at 5 pm. Hall capacity is 200 with seating available on a first come, first served basis. Please plan to arrive early.

About Venue: The AyurPrana Listening Room was constructed within the walls of a former church and built to compliment and expand upon the natural acoustics of the room by way of fresh audio equipment and extraordinary sound treatment. Located in downtown Asheville and set in the surrounding landscape of the Blue Ridge Mountains, this public program is perfectly situated for the spiritual upliftment of Amma’s Senior Most Disciple – Swami Amritaswarupananda Puri.

Asheville NC Regional Airport is 25 minutes from the venue. Greenville/Spartanburg SC Regional airport is about 1 hour 15 minutes from the venue. Charlotte, NC Airport is about 2 hours from venue.
Parking:
Free public parking is available and is parallel to the venue, a gravel lot. Street parking limited. 402 Haywood Rd Lot is a paid surface lot located just a 2–3-minute walk from the venue.

Asheville Satsang
We are a growing, all embracing Amma community in the Blue Ridge Mountains of North Carolina that first began in 2001. Our Satsang meets every third Sunday of the month from Noon-2:00pm in rural Leicester N.C. (about 20 minutes from Asheville). As a community, we gather to elevate one another and to support those locally in need; and in kinship with Amma’s humanitarian projects called Embracing the World.
