Help Make Chilli for the Food Bank

Since 2009, Amma Canada volunteers have continually been serving those in the Halton Hills Community by cooking and serving delicious, vegetarian chilli at the local food bank, Georgetown Bread Basket (GBB), as part of North American Mother’s Kitchen. As Amma's 73rd birthday approaches on September 27, she has asked that all the ashrams and centres around the world mark the occasion through a day of selfless service - Vishwa Seva Dinam. This Chilli Seva on September 25-26 is thus part of Amma Toronto Satsang's four service initiatives celebrating Amma's 73rd birthday.

Please join us on Friday, September 25 to prepare seven crock pots of delicious vegetation chilli to serve guests at the GBB on Saturday, September 26. Amma Canada's Charitable Team is requesting 6-8 veggie choppers to help prep the veggies and assist with kitchen clean up at the Amma Canada Centre from 5:00-8:00 PM. All are welcome. Instruction will be provided for newcomers. A light snack will be provided!
