October 10th at 6:00 am: Tila Homa and Pitru Puja at ๐ ๐ ๐๐ฒ๐ป๐๐ฒ๐ฟ ๐๐, seating starts at 5:30 am
Pujas performed on Mahalaya Amavasya also called Sarva Pitru Moksha Amavasya are considered especially beneficial for departed family members and ancestors. On this day Br. Ramanandamrita Chaitanya will conduct a Tila Homa, a sacred fire ceremony, to pay homage to departed souls. This will be followed by a guided Pitru Puja, allowing individuals to personally offer their respects and prayers to the departed souls in their family.
The homa will start at 6:00 am. Please arrive no later than 5:45 am to settle down and be ready for the puja.
