Navaratri, which translates to "nine nights" in Sanskrit, is a major annual festival dedicated to the worship of the Divine Mother in Her forms of Durga, Lakshmi, and Saraswati. Traditionally, it is celebrated over nine nights and ten days. The tenth day is known as Vijayadashami. The central theme is the triumph of good over evil. The festival is divided into three sets of three days, each focusing on a different aspect of the Goddess.
October 20th Vijayadashami: Vijaya means "victory" and "dashami" means tenth. Our final celebration together celebrating Victory over evil.
