Rescuing Bread, Feeding Neighbours
Every Sunday morning, Bread Seva volunteers rescue organic, day-old bread from Whole Foods and other bakeries — loaves, biscuits, baguettes, muffins, bagels and pastries that would otherwise be discarded — and deliver it to local shelters serving women and families across Massachusetts.
"When you share with a loving heart, that love reaches the one who receives — and returns to you multiplied."
— in the spirit of Amma's teaching
A single location averages five to eight full shopping carts every Sunday morning. Over more than a decade, Bread Seva has delivered more than 3,640 carts of bread to those in need — a quiet, faithful weekly practice of turning surplus into sustenance.
