In the wake of the devastating fires in and around Los Angeles, MA Center LA in Redondo Beach launched an ongoing effort to support those who lost their homes and belongings. Swami Dayamritananda Puri, Executive Director of the MA Centers, was in Los Angeles to support the relief efforts.
On January 10–12, 2025, the center held a Food and Essentials Drive. Devotees and friends prepared over 100 bagged lunches for distribution to fire victims — along with water, blankets, snacks and essentials — and on Sunday created a hot meal for 200, while collecting food and needed items for those affected.
The relief continued for months. Through the first week of April, MA Center LA delivered essential supplies and freshly prepared meals every week to families affected by the Eaton fire, and donated to the Wildland Firefighter Foundation, which supports the families of injured and fallen wildland firefighters.

Amma, aware of the devastating fires, prayed to the Supreme Consciousness to grant mental and inner strength to all who are suffering.
