Tila Homa for Ancestors & Departed Souls

Pujarini Vaju will lead a special Tila Homa and guided puja to pay homage to our ancestors and departed souls on the sacred occasion of Mahalaya Amavasya.
Mahalaya Amavasya marks the end of the Pitru Paksha period and is considered an auspicious day to offer prayers and perform rituals in remembrance of our ancestors.
The ceremony will begin at 6:00 AM CDT with Pujarini Vaju performing the Tila Homa for the peace of our ancestors and to seek their blessings, followed by a guided puja for devotees to participate in and offer their prayers to departed souls and ancestors.

Devotees who wish to have a Sankalpa (special resolve) made on their behalf may register for the ceremony. Physical presence is not required to receive the spiritual benefits of the Homa.
