Why it Matters

Food insecurity affects millions of individuals and families across North America. Behind the statistics are real people — shelter residents, low-income families, and unhoused individuals who struggle daily to access nutritional food. Our projects step directly into this gap, transforming basic ingredients into thousands of hot, nourishing meals every year.

Volunteers assemble 108 burrito meal-bags each week and hand them directly to the food-insecure across Fairfield.
