Warm Coats for Children in Need

Now in its seventh year, the M.A. Center DC winter clothes drive provides warm winter clothing for children ages 4 to 10 at Kemp Mill Elementary School (KMES) — a Title 1 school in Silver Spring, Maryland, serving economically disadvantaged families. Many of the school's pre-kindergarten through fifth-grade students wait outdoors for their school buses in the cold, and proper winter attire makes a real difference.
Each year the community gathers coats, hats, gloves and other warm clothing from a needed-items wish list. To contribute or learn more, please reach out via the contact page.
