M.A. Center DC welcomes Swami Amritaswarupananda Puri — Amma's senior-most disciple and vice-chairman of the Mata Amritanandamayi Math — for a weekend retreat and public program on the theme Across Waves to Wonders: Karma and the Hanuman Within.

  • Sunday, August 16, 5:00 p.m. — free public program, open to all

Of these two, the second type needs to be considered first because if we have love and compassion in our hearts, then we will wholeheartedly serve those who suffer from lack of food, clothing and shelter.
