MA Center Joins the C20 999 Challenge
In 2023, as India hosted the G20, Amma served as chair of the C20 — the civil-society engagement group — under the theme “You Are the Light.” As part of it, communities worldwide were invited to take up the 999 Challenge: to complete acts of service in three areas — caring for oneself, for others, and for nature.
MA Center San Ramon took part wholeheartedly, with satsang members logging seva across all three: meditation and self-care practices, meals and support for neighbours in need, and tree planting and clean-ups on the land. Each small act, multiplied across thousands of hands, became a collective offering of light.
