Swami Dayamritananda Puri explores the Srimad Bhagavatam, composed by Bhagavan Vyasa, the compiler of the Vedas. Each class begins with a short meditation and a spiritual discourse, followed by a few bhajans led by Swamiji and arati.

The Srimad Bhagavatam, or Bhagavata, is one of the eighteen great Puranas of Sanatana Dharma. It celebrates bhakti (devotion) while drawing together the philosophies of Advaita, Vishishtadvaita and Dvaita. Having compiled the Vedas, Vyasa was inspired to present their essence in this form, and it is regarded as one of the most complete expositions of Vedic knowledge — ranging over cosmology, the origin of the universe, astronomy, genealogy, geography, legend, music, dance, yoga and culture.
