Silent Retreat in Hawaii: A Post-Event Overview

The serene island of Oahu, Hawaii, set the perfect backdrop for an unforgettable seven-day silent retreat from January 13 to January 20. Led by Swami Dayamritananda Puri and Swamini Ambikamrita Prana, the retreat offered participants a transformative experience in the lap of nature.

Nestled on a pastoral property, the retreat provided a picturesque escape surrounded by the lush beauty of nature—with majestic mountains on one side and the endless expanse of the ocean on the other—an idyllic setting that facilitated deep introspection and serenity.

Throughout these seven days, participants embarked on a journey into silence and inner peace. The daily itinerary included meditation sessions that allowed individuals to connect with their inner selves, yoga sessions that nurtured physical and mental well-being, and satsangs (spiritual talks). One of the highlights was the bhajans (devotional songs), which added a melodious, soulful dimension and served as a medium for participants to express their devotion and connect with the divine.

Q&A sessions gave attendees the opportunity to seek clarity on spiritual matters and gain a deeper understanding of universal spiritual truths. Surrounded by the natural beauty of Hawaii, participants experienced a unique blend of tranquility and transformation, leaving with a renewed sense of purpose and inner peace.
