In 2024, Amma Quebec’s Enchanted Biscuits initiative once again carried on its cherished tradition of spreading joy and nourishment. Beautifully crafted biscuits, cookies, and madeleines were thoughtfully packaged into vibrant gift bags and shared with Santropol Roulant and youth in protective custody, bringing warmth and care through the holiday season.
The Amrita Biscuits tradition has been a beloved part of Amma Quebec for many years, with volunteers giving their time and skill to bake and distribute treats to charitable organizations — in past years reaching unhoused individuals, at-risk youth, and other vulnerable communities. Alongside the baked goods, devotees have sometimes added handmade cards, painted or drawn with original messages of hope and encouragement.
A heartfelt thank-you goes to all the dedicated “pastry elves” who made it possible, with special appreciation to Rudran, Parvati, and Anaya for their leadership and enthusiasm in coordinating the seva during the 2024 holiday season.
