Amrita Bala Kendra (ABK) teaches spiritual values to children through Amma's teachings. Classes include fun and engaging activities — stories, games, music, and arts and crafts — designed to deepen a child's understanding of spiritual principles and how to bring them into daily life. ABK is open to children ages 4 and up. Classes are typically held every Saturday from 3:00 to 4:30 p.m. in the South Lodge ABK classroom (the last Saturday of the month is skipped, and ABK pauses over the summer).
The focus of ABK is on moral values, spiritual teachings and devotional music. Additional activities include camps, nature sessions and service projects — from a toy drive and donation drives for area shelters to volunteering at Feed My Starving Children and taking part in the annual World Peace Interfaith Prayer Service.
