The World Peace Yajna was a great success. The world-peace offerings — 108 Ganapati-Navagriha-Mrityunjaya Homas led by Amma and performed by the Sannyāsinīs and Brahmacāriṇīs (female monastics) of the Mata Amritanandamayi Math — concluded with Amma leading everyone in the peace prayer "Om Lokah Samastha Sukhino Bhavantu" (May all beings everywhere be happy).
The Sivam Sundaram – Vishwa Kalyana Yajna, conceptualized by Amma, was not held only at the Amritapuri Ashram but involved participation from all the centers of the Mata Amritanandamayi Math throughout the world.
Prayers have a positive influence on human health and functioning, and Amma often reminds us of the strength of group prayer. When people come together to make a resolve, it is a vast transformative power capable of bringing a paradigm shift over humankind.
Let us all pray jointly for the welfare of the whole of humanity, for personal growth and for global unity — that it may dispel the darkness of these tiring times of pandemics and conflicts. The Viśva Kalyāṇa Yajñaṃ continues at 6 am IST on March 30, 2022, at Amma's centers across the globe.
