Every Sunday, members of the Victoria satsang serve alongside other volunteers at Our Place, a downtown refuge and support centre for people who are homeless. We bake cookies for Reverend Al's Dandelion Society street outreach, make sandwiches with bread donated by Cobb's Bakery, and help serve soup and sandwiches at lunch.
A typical Sunday
- 10:00 AM – Baking cookies and making sandwiches
- 12:00 PM – Serving lunch, clearing dishes and helping the cooks
- 1:00 PM – Closing prayers together
Everyone is welcome, and no experience is needed. Our Place is at 919 Pandora Ave, Victoria, BC.
